Our Club has made the following donations during this Rotary Year, from the Charity Trust Fund.
The Club has again made its annual donation of £720 to Plan International, to help support four children in Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Benin and the Philippines.
Mission His Way, the charity run by David Slater to fund his missionary work in Uganda, received a donation of £250.00
Sam Rogers, who is going to Namibia with Raleigh International to help build a school, received a donation of £100.00
Sparkles and Surprises, the charity established by Jacqui Dolton to bring smiles to children with special needs, received a donation of £200.00
The Impact Foundation received a donation of £1,000.00 to help their work in bringing surgery to people in India and Bangladesh.
Compassion & Care International, a charity established by John Wildrianne to provide rapid response to natural disasters, received a dionation of £250.00
St Peter & St James Hospice received a donation of £250.00
The Hurstpierpoint First Responders team received a further donation of £250.00, to help with trheir continued expenses of training and operating the service.
We donated €1,000 (£680.00) to the project specified by our Dutch Contact Club, the Rotary Club of Oss-Maasland, Stichting Hulpfonds Katra Hospital in the Mandala District, and the Motinala Jungle Hospital in Madhya Pradesh, India.
Rotary Kids Out cost us £258.75 to take 20 children from Newick House School to Chessington for the annual day out. This was funded equally by our Mother Club, the Rotary Club of Burgess Hill and District.
