Triple Meeting 2008

This annual event was held in England from 18-20 April 2008. Sussex Vale was the host club this year, and the visitors from Oss-Maasland in the Netherlands and Kluisbergen-Vlaamse-Ardennen in Belgium were accommodated as guests by Club members.

• Friday Night began with a champagne reception at the Adastra Hall in Hassocks, followed by a hot supper and a Barn Dance, after which the guests were taken to their host's home.

• Saturday morning saw a visit to Brighton, for a tour around the Royal Pavilion, followed by a lunch at an Italian Restaurant in Brighton Marina.

• Saturday Evening was marked by a dinner and dance at the Thistle Hotel in Brighton, during which each Club put on a Pageant, based on the theme of Punch and Judy (or not).

• Sunday Morning saw us back at the Adastra Hall, where the presentation of the Cup for the best pageant was made, and the cheques for the triple project Village Water were presented, followed by a brief presentation by Guy Hudson on that Topic. After a cold buffet lunch, the guests departed.
